The Dolphins are to travel to Buffalo this weekend for yet another ‘do-or-die’ affair.
I think this joke may have been told before: Stop her if you’ve heard this one.
When one starts a game in the NFL season as poorly as the Miami team has in the year 2024, all of the games become do-or-die at some juncture. And as we move into November, they for sure are there.
Of course, they are going to have a formidable task of winning in Buffalo. Buffalo is on a roll, the temperatures are dropping and the history that the Dolphins have had of late in the upstate New York area is not something to brag about. Plus, the Dolphins are playing .. not well as last Sunday they were beaten by the Cardinals.
Regardless, The Palm Beach Post Sports Staff is well and we have to offer our predictions on Buffalo-Miami so here goes:
Joe Schad – I love Americas team, looks like the Bills have taken a liking to them as well with a 28-24 win over the Dolphins.
In fact, it is looking like a do or die affair for the Dolphins. And, it can greatly positively influence the outcome of their season’s performance. We believe Miami looks sharp, but they do not have enough to edge by Josh Allen one more time. For instance, as pointed earlier Miami has always had a bad time handling Allen’s run game. And this Miami defense has not forced enough turnovers which is the only thing that Fayson or Josh as I would come to know him as is weakest to.
Hal Habib Status: Bills, 29–, Dolphins, 20
I can only assume the Dolphins truly frustrate the schedule maker because if you are designing the opponent and the place you don’t want Miami to have to travel to that is a crossroads for the season, Buffalo is the one.
Tom D’Angelo – Bills 31, Dolphins 13
Allen passed for 139 yards the first time they played and the team still won by three Tds. The prior four games he surpassed 300 yards and the Bills were victorious in all four, one by one touchdown margin. That is a characteristic of most every winning team; the Bills own the Dolphins. The Miami team has played 14 games against teams with winning records and has lost all of them. Take a guess how the team that drafted him has been playing lately If you haven’t figured it out yet, the Bills are now 6-2. Make that 7-2.
Receivers in shotgun – Nick Pugliese – Bills 28, Dolphins 27
In my view, it will be quite a shock if the Dolphins win this one – and the spread is only 6 – given all their problems. Tua is 1-7 against the Bills, questions remain over the offensive line, and health concerns with defense. Could the Bills under do their AFC East buddies? Still I figured this must be one of those games that give the fools the slip – only somewhat. Dolphins beat spread but are now at 2-6.
