Two sides with different objectives are prepared for what may turn into an unyielding struggle on Sunday, when the Buffalo Bills travels to the Indianapolis Colts.
Buffalo Bills (7-2) vs. Indianapolis Colts (4-5)
- When: Sunday, November 10
- Time: 1 p.m. ET
- Where: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Ind.)
- Channel: CBS
They are slowly rising as a real contender in the AFC the same as they were last year and the year before that. After a couple Friday and Saturday losses the team has proven that not only can they manhandle the weaker team of the week but they are also capable of coming from behind and winning close, gritty games. Buffalo has won its last four games, and even paced the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks by substantial margins. They had to dig deep and outlast Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins last Sunday to do so, though, and that is a big deal in winning an important divisional season series.
The Bills are first place in the AFC East, with a four game lead over the New York Jets.
Nevertheless, the Colts still are below.500 level and documented that they should be seen in the SNF last week but were not good enough to overcome a quality Minnesota Vikings team and fell 21-13 at that site. PRO And although the Colts aren’t particularly good on the road this season, they have proved quite good at home, having won three of four home games to date including their Week 7 victory against Miami.
To date the Indianapolis Colts still find themselves right there in the thick of the AFC Wild Card battle even though their overall record to date is sub.500. They are the second team in the division, six points behind the Houston Texans, in first place.
The all time regular season record for the Bills against the Colts is 38-33-1, but the Colts won the last time when they played each other in 2021.
MY PICK: Bills win, 24-21
