And following 11 games of turnover-filled twists and tumbles, the high school football squads still drilling this week have made the six-game charge to the finale in Arlington.
Sinton is the only 11-man football team to go undefeated through the season in the Coastal Bend and Two Rivers and Flour Bluff saw their perfect regular season records spoiled in the last week of action.
Circuits are nice for some teams, while others contain opportunities to step on a landmine, and all focus on AT&T Stadium and getting the chance to compete on the last week of the 2016 regular season in December.
