Week 11 offers some critical and high-octane games in every corner of college football, and given that the new College Football Playoff rankings were released on Tuesday, we are in for it next. Some of this weekend’s games have the capacity to unravel a significant upset of the playoff standings.
On a weekly show on CBS Sports called Inside College Football the analysts and guests give their upset picks for the week and former UCLA head coach and player Rick Neuheisel took the biggest gamble.
Neuheisel proclaimed another hromis winner of the year which many experts have never seen before, Neuheisel said an undefeated team will lose and he was right again. They stunned the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes, who are now 11-point favorites, as per the DraftKings Sportsbook.
Neuheisel has been on tear this season with his upset special going 6-1 and he told why he believes it will be upset special Georgia Tech at home.
They prepared for freshman year, Neuheisel said, “I’m going to take Georgia Tech.” “I believe Haynes King comes back and they defeat Miami on Saturday.”
A win for Georgia Tech is shocking to the entire college football world upsetting the top 25, the ACC, and, most crucially, the CFP.
Currently the ACC fails to pack the air-tight case of numerous teams eligible for playoffs; Miami being the sole certainty. But a loss to Georgia Tech is dangerous for the Hurricanes and their playoff chances since it would make them much weaker and allow other teams such as SMU Mustangs to contend for the championships in the conference.
The game between the Miami and Georgia Tech will be played at noon EST and the later is expecting to have its starting QB Haynes King to play after he recovered from an injury. Miami will be playing at 9-0 and wants to keep their record perfect while Georgia Tech comes into the game at 5-4 and has hopes of gaining their sixth win of the year and becoming bowl eligible.
