The pair were snapped hand in hand hugging and smiling during photo opt at the new movie’s world premiere screening which was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX in LA on Friday.
They have come together again to act in the drama movie that adapts Richard McGuire’s 2014 book of the same title.
Tom, 68 — who takes the lead role of Richard Young in the drama film — looked quite smart in a black shirt and a black suit.
For his part, Robin who is 58 years old dressed as Margaret, the wife to Richard, dazzled in a grey and white pin stripe fitted suit.
She complemented the look with a black stiletto and decorated her hand with a sequined clutch.

It is a one-location movie revealing the lives of different generations of families living in one house.
It is expected by fans on the big screens of the US on 1 st November.
Also starring with Tom and Robin are Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly, Michelle Dockery and Gwilym Lee.
When asked about the opportunity to work with Robin again, Tom told that it is still the same as before, the same as it has been years ago.
He added to The Hollywood Reporter: We’ve been having the conversation that we’ve overdone now repeatedly; we met occasionally.
‘Well, I will say that on the very first day when we first sat down with our scripts to start busting it up, there was a kind of like, Can you believe this? How did this happen?’”
“But there is a ‘but’ — But that was then this is now and we know so much better so we just pick up with the ease or what was described by Sam as the luxury of knowing each other backwards and forward and great big trust and affection.”
Tom and Robin originally acted in Forrest Gump, which was way back in 1994.
Forrest Gump is a movie that tells the story of a man in the life of that man.
The comedy was also directed by Robert Zemeckis with script adapted from Winston Groom’s novel published in 1986.
Tom acted as a main character Forrest Gump, and Robin acted as Jenny Curran.
The film also received several awards, such as The Oscars award, eighty, seventy, Best Actor at 67th Academy Awards Seventy-one and shows a success at Golden Globe Awards receiving three awards.
